Today's field note from Sgt. Puppy and the morning watch at Camp Puppy Haven, Vermont.

A pig got loose and settled into the beer garden behind the brewery on Route 5. It would not leave. Everyone agreed it had found its happy place. This is Camp Puppy Haven, Vermont.
It was Friday, June 19th. It was warming in Camp Puppy Haven, storm had broken from the day before. We were working the day watch out of Cross-Species Fun Suppression. My partner's Murph. The boss is Lieutenant Fern. My name's Puppy.
We were sent to remove the pig. The pig had figured out something the regulars hadn't. We let it stay.
Sgt. Puppy's Field Notes are published most weekday mornings.
