It was Wednesday, June 17th. It was warm in Camp Puppy Haven, a storm coming by afternoon. We were working the day watch out of Anti-Brooding Squad. My partner's Murph. The boss is Lieutenant Birch. My name's Puppy.
A woman was watching the incoming weather on their phone. The dog had heard it twenty miles out. Only one of them was calm.
