What is THiNK LiKE A DOG?
THiNK LiKE A DOG is a family-run company in the hills of Vermont making dog-themed apparel for dog people — t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and mugs, printed to order. The designs are reminders more than jokes: think less, wag more, feel better, be that dog.
What is Camp Puppy Haven?
Camp Puppy Haven is our Vermont camp line — a separate collection with its own look, built around a camp that exists mostly in a dog's head. It's the invention of Puppy, our matriarch, a terrier–cocker spaniel mix. The gear is what the camp store would have sold in 1974: tees, crewnecks, hoodies, and a mug carrying either the camp badge or the Vermont arch lettering.
Who is Sgt. Puppy?
Sgt. Puppy is the senior K9 officer at Camp Puppy Haven and the narrator of our daily field notes. Every weekday morning she files a short dispatch from the morning watch. You can read them on the blog or watch them as short films.
Where are your products made?
We print to order, and everything is printed and shipped from the United States. Blanks come from established garment makers — Comfort Colors, Gildan, Cotton Heritage — and a real person prints and quality-checks your gear before it ships. Nothing is warehoused, so nothing is wasted.
Are your shirts good quality?
We choose blanks first and design second. The Camp Puppy Haven tee is a Comfort Colors 1717, a garment-dyed 6.1 oz heavyweight with a relaxed fit that feels broken in from the first wear. The crewneck is a pre-shrunk Gildan 18000. The hoodie is a Cotton Heritage M2580 with a cotton face and a three-panel hood. These are the same blanks small print shops have used for decades.
Sizing and fit
How do your shirts fit?
Most of our tees are a standard unisex fit. The Camp Puppy Haven tee on the Comfort Colors 1717 is a relaxed fit and runs slightly roomier.
Does anything run small?
Yes. The Camp Puppy Haven hoodie, on the Cotton Heritage M2580, runs small. We recommend ordering one size up from your usual.
What sizes do you offer?
It varies by garment. Tees generally run S–4XL, crewneck sweatshirts S–5XL, and hoodies S–3XL. Extended sizes are priced a little higher because the blanks cost more, but we hold our profit roughly flat rather than penalising larger sizes. A few individual colors stop short of the full range when the manufacturer discontinues them.

Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
$5 flat rate for standard shipping. Free on orders over $75. Express is available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Not at the moment. We ship within the United States only, and everything is printed and shipped from the US.
How long will my order take?
Processing takes 2–4 business days — most orders ship in 2–3. Transit is typically another 3–7 business days depending on destination. Busy periods and holidays can add a day or two. You'll always get tracking.
Why did my order arrive in two packages?
If your order includes different product types — a tee and a mug, say — they may ship separately with separate tracking numbers. That's normal, and it gets each item to you sooner.
My tracking hasn't updated. Is my order lost?
Almost certainly not. Tracking updates once the carrier scans your package in, and it's common for an order to sit in pre-shipment for a few days. If there's no movement, reply to your order email and we'll investigate.
Tracking says delivered but I don't have it. What now?
Give it 48 hours first — carriers sometimes scan a package as delivered a day or two before it arrives. Check parcel lockers, your mailbox, and with neighbours. If it's still missing after that, email us within 7 days and we'll help.
Returns and exchanges
What is your return policy?
Tell us within 30 days of delivery and choose an exchange or a refund. We reprint or refund once the return is scanned and approved. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in new condition.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email thinkdog@think-like-a-dog-store.com with your order number and whether you'd prefer an exchange or a refund. If your request is accepted, you'll get a prepaid return shipping label and instructions on where to send the package. Please don't send anything back before requesting a return — we can't accept it.
What if my item arrived damaged, misprinted, or wrong?
Email us within 30 days with your order number and a quick photo. We'll replace or refund at no cost, and you don't need to send anything back. Keep the original or donate it.
I need a different size. What's the fastest way?
For most tees and mugs we offer a No-Return Exchange — keep or donate the original and we'll place a fresh order in the right size or color. If you'd rather send it back, we'll email a prepaid return label and ship the replacement once the return scans.
Does a refund cover shipping?
Refunds cover the product price; original shipping isn't refundable. If we provided a prepaid return label, a $6.95 label fee is deducted from the refund. We'll notify you when the refund is processed, and your bank may take a few days to post it.
What can't be returned?
- Final-sale items, gift cards, and personalized or custom items
- Items that have been worn, washed, or altered
- Requests made more than 30 days after delivery
Can I change my order after placing it?
If your order hasn't entered production or shipped, we can usually update the size, color, or address — just reply to your order email as soon as you can. Once a label is created, carrier changes aren't guaranteed.

Do you take custom or bespoke design requests?
Not currently, but we're always adding to the range. Tell us what you're after and it may turn up in a future collection.
