This is the camp. Camp Puppy Haven, Vermont. Every spiderweb in the lower field held the dew this morning. Thousands of them. They were gone by nine.
It was Friday, September 11th. It was cool at dawn in Camp Puppy Haven, warm by noon. We were working the morning watch out of Dew Line Detail. My partner's Murph. The boss is Lieutenant Dot. My name's Puppy.
A woman tried to photograph them. The phone saw nothing. Murph walked the whole field and came back wearing them.
