It was Tuesday, June 23rd. It was cool and gray in Camp Puppy Haven, the clouds sitting low all day. We were working the day watch out of Front Porch Forum Dispatch. My partner's Doris. The boss is Lieutenant Rue. My name's Puppy.
Small, brown, probably scared. Doris worked the nose. We found him under the third porch step, in no hurry at all.
