It was Monday, May 4th. It was warming in Camp Puppy Haven. We were working the day watch out of Anti-Brooding Squad. My partner's Murph. The boss is Captain Otis. My name's Puppy.
A spouse had been workshopping an apology in their head since breakfast. They still hadn't said it. We had work to do.
